In recent year, Sino-Korean trade has risen rapidly. The total volume of bi-lateral trade reached over USD 100 billion. With increasing projects in China, more Koreans came to China these years. The annual increase rate has kept over 40% in last the two years. It is estimated that the total number of arrivals by Korean professionals will reach 3,5 million. Shandong and Zhang Jiajie remained the favorite tourism destinations for Koreans. There are great potentials for tourism development in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province.

Now there are 131 Korean-funded enterprises in Nanjing. Among them 40 came just in 2004. 24 Korean enterprises chose the Xingang LG Development Zone in Nanjing with a total investment of USD 170 million. This time the Nanjing Municipal Government had a delegation to join the COEX KOTFA 2005 to make the city better known to Korean entrepreneurs.

With the increasing importance of Korean market, the Jinling Hotel & Resorts will make more efforts to develop this market based on a better understanding of Korean culture and customs. (Ingrid Yin)
