Controlled by Jinling Holdings Ltd, the
Jinling Hotel Corporation was established in December 2002 and listed in April
2007 on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, which made it the first IPO in China’s
hotel industry after full circulation.
The Corporation is resolved for its future
to be guided by “hotel investment management, tourism resource development and
Trading Hotel Goods.” The Corporation now has 13 wholly-owned subsidiaries, and 4 jointly-owned companies, in the businesses of investment management, commercial complex management, hotel
supplies, property management, food research and development, and tourism
resource development. The corporation has received multiple national,
provincial, and municipal awards, and is listed in China’s 30 Largest Hotel
Management Groups and The World’s 50 Largest Hotel Groups.
Opened in October 1983, Jinling Hotel
Nanjing is one of the first six hotels approved by State Council to accept
foreign guests in 1979, is the first five-star hotel in Jiangsu Province, and was
known as “the tallest building in China”, “the first international hotel under
Chinese management”. The hotel has received over 800 national and foreign
political leaders, more than 5,000 elite business and society people, a total
of over 26 million guests from 168 countries. The expansion project of the
Jinling Hotel Nanjing’s Asia Pacific Tower covers an area of 170,000 square
meters and has 57 floors. After it began operation, the total number of guest
rooms of the Jinling Hotel Nanjing was 1,000.
Reaching a height of
242 meters, the 57-story Asia Pacific Tower was completed in October 2013.
